This work was a challenge of combining 2 different melodies, one is Japanese soul music of “Home Land(Furusato)” and the another is “Moldau” composed by Smetana. The image of this music came from Hiro’s home land where the beautiful scenery was spread out along with a stream. Mixed sound of Japanese and European creates poetical melody.

日本人が最も好む歌に選ばれた「ふるさと」とスメタナ作曲の「モルダウ」が一つになりました。上流の水の流れが、やがて大河になっていく様は、作曲家、藤掛廣幸の生まれ故郷の山里を流れる清流と相通じる気がして、故郷でのソロ·オーケストラ·コンサートの折に会場のお客様と一緒に歌うという目的で書かれました。
