The original music was composed for the poem called “Hakumei(Twilight)” by Michizō Tachihara. The inspiration of this music comes from the morning fresh light with wishing for the world peace. Hiro always feels that one of his important missions as a composer is making world peace with music. He hopes this music brings endless peace and happiness for the all people in the world. It’s been first performed by Hiroshima Shudo University.

この曲の原曲は、立原道造の詩に作曲した合唱曲「薄明」が基になっています。夜明け……さわやかな朝の光のイメージの中に、誰もが願っているはずの“平和への祈り”の気持ちを込めて作曲しました。世界で唯一の被爆国である日本の広島と長崎……その尊い貴重な体験を通じて生れる“平和への想い”を作品を通じて全世界に訴えていかなければ……常々、それが、作曲家としての使命であるように感じていた私は、この曲が、生命を得て一人歩きをし、より多くの人々の中に平和の輪を作り上げていく為に、役立ってくれることを願ってやみません。広島修道大学により委嘱、初演されました。
