This was commissioned and first performed by Fukuoka Mandolin Orchestra for their 40th anniversary, conducted by Hiro Fujikake in 16th October, 2005. They requested a new music about Asia.  Followings are words came up with Hiro’s mind when he started composing. These words led out the melody in his mind.Wind comes over the sea
Songs come on the wind
Love comes with songs and connects all countries in Asia.Theses is no boundaries or restrictions or prejudice, we are all in one, people living in this precious land of the earth.  Melody of various folk songs in several asian countries, including Okinawa and rhythms of kechak/Kecak (music of Balinese dance) are naturally are merging in this music.

Wind came over the sea
Songs came on the wind
♪風は海を渡って来た
♪歌は風に乗ってやってきた
♪愛は歌に乗ってアジアを一つにつなぐ
このようなイメージが心に浮かび、その後にメロディが生まれてきました。アジアの国々の民謡や沖縄やケチャのリズム等も渾然一体となって溶け込んでいます。
